Every brand means something slightly different by "0 to 3 months", which is why two pieces with the same label can fit very differently.

Go by weight and length

Weight and length tell you far more than age does. If you know both, you can size almost anything correctly the first time. When a baby sits between two sizes, take the larger one.

Growth is not steady

Most babies grow fastest in the first four months, then slow down. A piece bought to fit perfectly in week six may last three weeks. One bought slightly large may last three months.

What we would buy

  • Frocks: if your baby is between two sizes, take the bigger one. A little extra length just means it lasts longer.
  • Jhablas and tops: true to size, because they get worn the most.
  • Gifts: always size up. The baby will be bigger by the time it is opened.

If you tell us your baby's weight and height, we will tell you which size to take. We would rather you order once than twice.
